Carl "Dick" Richard Gawlinski, 77, of Union City, went to be with the Lord, on Friday, July 23, 2021. He was born on October 3, 1943 in Meadville, raised in Little Cooley to Frank and Anna "Louise" Raybuck Gawlinski. He married Shirley Haskins on January 14, 1961, she survives. He was a member of the Little Cooley United Methodist Church. Dick enjoyed his two dogs, Bandit and Meka. If you ever saw him walking his dogs, he always had on his straw hat. He loved car shows, showing off his 1932 Chevy Coupe, hunting, and muzzleloading. He always enjoyed making his rounds to the local businesses. He was employed by Union Drilling, Phoenix Drilling, and McFeeley Trucking. In addition to his loving wife, Shirley Haskins Gawlinski of 60 years, he is survived by three daughters, Lorri (Charles) Malay of Union City, Cami (Jim) Pulling of Union City, and Kelly (Chip) Nelsen of Alabama; a son, Scott (Judy) Gawlinski of Union City; twelve grandchildren, Ryan Campbell, Jillian Stuart, William Mitchell, Richard Gawlinski, Tim Nelsen, Carlie DiPietro, Cody Campbell, Garrett Mitchell, Jesse Nelsen, Jaylene Gawlinski, Josh Nelsen, Corey Nelsen, Josh Pulling and Justin Pulling; twenty-two great-grandchildren, two brothers, Larry Gawlinski and his wife Phyllis of Venango and Jeff Gawlinski and his wife Debbie of Union City; and a brother in law, Roger Marvin of Oil City. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Timothy Brian Gawlinski, and his sister, Judy Marvin. Family and friends are welcome to call on Tuesday, July 27th from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Warren-Glenn Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 62 S. Main Street, Union City. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 28th at 10:00 am at the funeral home with Dick's grandsons, Jesse and Timothy Nelsen, officiating. Private burial will take place in Evergreen Cemetery, Union City. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Dick's memory may be made to Critter Camp and Cuts, 32708 Forest Home Road, Union City, PA 16438.
