Kayla Marie Martin, 31, of Union City, passed away, Tuesday, June 1, 2021, at Corry Memorial Hospital. She was born on December 6, 1989 in Erie, Pennsylvania a daughter of Howard A. Martin and Mary P. McKinley.
She was a graduate of Union City High School.
Kayla enjoyed shopping, cleaning, and spending time with her son.
In addition to her parents; she is survived by a son, Bentley Day of Cambridge Springs; two sisters, Suzie Hunt of Union City, and Cathy Myers of Summit Township; a brother, Robert Martin of Illinois, and maternal grandmother Paula Lilley of Illinois.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents; and maternal grandfather.

My hope is for Kayla’s little boy to find comfort in his best memories with her. I was Bentlee’s teacher this year, and I know he loved spending time with his mom. They played together while finding joy in each other’s company. Bentlee has been a blessing to all his friends, and I count myself in that fortunate group. Good job to Kayla for raising a kind-hearted, friendly, and smart little boy. We’ll wrap our supportive arms around Bentlee.
My thoughts and prayers are with the family and their time of loss. Remember all of the happy times with her and keep them close to your heart. God bless you all.
Oh Kayla. I prayed for you all the time over the past few years since we grew apart. Im speechless. May you rest in complete peace now. Your battle is over. Much love to your family…and immense prayers for your son. You will be remembered
One memory that sticks with me and always will…when we decorated your Christmas tree and let Bentlee help lol. He did perfectly at age 2! I cherish that day and all the laughter we had💜
