Jeannette Ann Morvay Soety Rush

Jeanette Ann Morvay Soety Rush, 81, of Richmond, VA, formerly of Union City, passed away, Tuesday, February 16, 2021. She was born on March 28, 1939 in Union City, a daughter of William Morvay and Helen Tujetsch Morvay Alford. She married John Soety and later married Bruce Rush. She was born and raised a Catholic and later became a Baptist. She was a phlebotomist in the health-care field over the years. Jeanette is survived by her two daughters, Valerie Derr of Richmond, VA, and Robin Thompson of Chesterfield, VA; two sons, John Soety of DeLand, FL, and Brett Soety of Austin, TX; two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren; three nephews and one niece; two great-nephews; and one great-niece; one sister, Beverly Miller (Joseph) of Canadohta Lake; one brother, James "Jimmy" Morvay (Charlene) of Union City; She was preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Rush, and her parents.
