Emily B. Smith

Emily B. Smith, 93 of Saegertown, passed away, Tuesday, August 11, 2020, at Rolling Fields Elder Care Community. She was born on April 29, 1927 in McKeesport, PA, daughter of the late Emil and Viola McClusky Behunek. She married Gerald W. Smith, Sr., he proceeded her in passing. Emily was an extremely talented woman and worked for years as a professional cook at Bertram Restaurant, Talon, Inc., Allegheny College and Wesbury United Methodist Retirement Community. She enjoyed china painting. artistic coloring and sketches. Survivors include her five sons, William R. Smith of Guys Mills; Donald Smith of KS; Stanley Smith of Meadville; Gerald W. Smith, Jr of Reading, PA and Brad Smith of Saegertown; and her grandchildren Alexis Smith and her Fiancé Kurt Crytzer; Kelly Young and Nathan Smith. In addition to her parents and her husband, Emily is preceded in passing by an infant daughter; two sisters Florence and Bertha and her brother Frank. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Kingsley Cemetery in Townville, PA. The Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home, 33353 N.
