Mark A. Michael, 61, of Union City, passed away, Tuesday, April 21, 2020 after a brief illness. He was born on December 13, 1958 in Union City a son of Robert A. Michael and Junetta M. Davis Michael. He was a 1977 graduate of Union City High School and we employed with Ames True Temper for over 20 years. Mark was a social member of VFW Post 6773, he enjoyed working on machinery and equipment, hunting, fishing, helping his many friends and family solve any mechanical issues they maybe having. He is survived by a son, Mark A. Michael, Jr. and his wife Susan of Union City; a daughter, Christine Michael of Erie; six grandchildren, David, Cameron, Shania, Rebecca, Zachary, and Hunter; a great grandchild, Cody; a brother, Robert M. Michael and his wife Chris of DuBois; and two nephews, Brandon Michael of Georgia and Travis Michael and his wife Laaron of Texas. Mark was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry Michael; and his companion, Dawn Case. Due to current COVID-19 restrictions there will be no services held at this time. Private burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Union City.   4. Anyone who could call mark a friend was blessed. He was one of the very few that would drop whatever he was doing to help friends or family that were in need. I’m sure that everyone who knew him will agree that the next time we are in a bind and don’t know who to call, we will remember what a good person we lost. R.I.P Mark. We love you.

  5. My condolences to the family. I love the picture of him working with his lathe. I never interacted with him post graduation so I didn’t have a true understanding of his gifts. Always knew of him being resourceful and mechanically inclined….and a bit wild in our HS days. RIP Mark.
