Rober Allen Keenan, age 88, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at the Marquette Hospice House, surrounded by his family. He was born on March 5, 1931, in Marion, Ohio, the son of Ronald and Faye Keenan. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Molly Ann Keenan, a daughter, Allison Faye Keenan, a son, Gregory Austin Keenan and his wife Sharlene Keenan, four grandchildren, Dr. Kaitlin Faye Mitchell, Joseph Edward Keenan, Matthew Clay Keenan and Thomas William Mitchell. Robert served in the U.S. Air Force, then attended Allegheny College and Ohio State University. He served on the faculty of Clarion University of Pennsylvania for many years as a professor of Speech Pathology. His passions included golfing and sailing his boat, the Sotto Voce. A private ceremony will be held at the convenience of the family. The care of services has been entrusted to the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Hospice of Crawford County, 766 Liberty St, Meadville, PA 16335.
