Bruce E. Parker, 82, of Townville, passed away, Monday, March 18, 2019 at his residence. He was born on February 3, 1937 a son of Lyle Parker and Rose M. Steadman Parker. He married Judy A. Hydash on August 26, 1963.
He was a 1954 graduate of Townville High School and had been employed by Boeing Aviation in Seattle, Washington, Rogers Trucking in Great Meadows, New Jersey, B.L. Waid Logging, and Willey and Son Trucking.
Bruce was a member of the Townville Area Talkers CB Club, he raced cars at Tri-City Speedway for over 30 years, he had a great mind and could fix almost anything, and he could be found on Tuesday nights at Sugar Lake Hotel listening to bluegrass music on the stool that Cheryl would always reserve for him with a can of Old Milwaukee.
He enjoyed reading western books, watching western tv shows, telling jokes and stories, cooking and baking, but most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren whom he spent hours outside with giving them rides on his tractor.
In addition to his loving wife, Judy; he is survived by three daughters, Barbara Parker and her companion Russ Dempsey of Centerville, Michelle Parker of North Dakota and Debbie Mitchell of North East; three sons, Bruce Parker and his wife Linda of Perry, Ohio, David Parker and his companion Karen of Saegertown, and Randy Parker and his companion Robin of Centerville; a stepson, Howard Huber and his wife Heidi of Oxford, Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Bryan Parker and his wife Danielle, Tanya Pursey and her husband James, Dr. Wendy Parker DVM, Mirrissa Parker, Brooke Parker, Sara Parker and her companion Josh Cashdollar, and Gabrielle Parker; a brother, Richard Parker of Sarasota, Florida; and many nieces and nephews.
Bruce was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Larry and Ronnie; and a son, Bruce Mitchell.
A celebration of life service will be announced at a later date.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations be made in Bruce's memory to the Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville, PA 16335

May it bring comfort to know that so many are sharing this loss with you. I am so blessed that God put me on the same family tree with Bruce and his family. He was one of the bright spots at Sugar Lake and I’ll forever treasure his smile, laughter and stories!
