Mary Elizabeth Beatty

MEADVILLE - Mary "Bettie" Elizabeth Still Beatty, 95 of Meadville, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Meadville Medical Center. She was born on July 24, 1923 in Union City, daughter of the late John E. and Mary J. Coyle Still. She married Oscar James Beatty in 1945, he preceded her in passing in 1984. Bettie enjoyed doing puzzles, Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy and her cat, Becky. Bettie was a devout Catholic and attended St. Agatha Church in Meadville. Survivors include her daughters Janet Beatty of Blooming Valley and Mary Super of Pittsburgh, her son-in-law Michael J. Call of Meadville; grandchildren, James Thomas Steiner and his wife Connie; John Joseph Steiner; Kelly Marie Steiner, Timothy Andrew Steiner and Ryan Patrick Grossman; great grandchildren, Tiffany, Melissa and Alicia and great great granddaughter, Selena. In addition to her parents and beloved husband, Bettie was preceded in passing by her daughter Kathleen Anne Steiner Call; son-in-law Richard Thomas Steiner and four brothers and three sisters. Services will be held privately. Burial will take place at Blooming Valley Cemetery. The Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335 has been entrusted with the care of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville, PA 16335.
