Milan F. Torok, 64, of Corry, PA, formerly of Jefferson St. Meadville, passed away on November 15, 2018 at St. Vincent Hospital.
Milan was born February 21, 1954 at Spencer Hospital in Meadville, a son of Frank and Catherine Torok.
He was a 1972 graduate of Meadville Area High School.
Milan enjoyed fishing, watching Steelers, and visiting with his friends.
He was a career soldier, having served 20 years total in the United States Air Force. During his military service he served at McChord Air Force base, Bossier Air Force base and Travis Air Force Base where he retired in 1996 with an honorable discharge. He was an airplane mechanic and served during “Operation Southern Watch ’96” and was a key member of the team enforcing the United Nations No Fly Zone over Southern Iraq. SSGT Milan F. Torok led the 4413th Air Refueling Squadron(Provisional) AL DHAFRA Air Base United Arab Emirates.
Milan is survived by his father, Frank Torok of Conneautville; a son, David of Las Vegas, Nevada; a daughter, Julie; four grandsons, Jayson, Robert, Felix and Francisco Torok of Apple Valley, California; a sister, Christy Sheckler of Meadville, and a nephew, Ted Sheckler, Jr. of Meadville.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Catherine C. Kreider.
There will be no services for Milan.

He was my first love here in Erie, PA back in the late 1970’s! He was my best pen pal when he joined the service. We had many summer dates at the sunny beaches of Presque Isle! Such a sweet person and always wanted to know how his life turned out. So proud of him in the Air Force! Sending his family my thoughts and prayers.
