TOWNVILLE - Arlene Louise Sellen Shorts, passed away, Friday, September 28, 2018 at her home. She was born on January 1, 1954 in Titusville, PA, daughter of the late William and Ethel May Sellen. She married her beloved husband, William "Rick" Shorts on January 15, 1972, he survives.
Arlene enjoyed crossword puzzles, playing cards and family outings. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
Survivors include her husband Rick Shorts of Townville; two daughters, Tonya Ross and her fiancé Tim Fultz of Meadville and Michelle Blair and her husband Todd of Guys Mills; grandchildren, Amber Presock and her husband Leroy Mackenzie Blair; Emma Blair; Johnathon Blair and Brach Fultz; great grandchildren Grace and Hannah McClelland and Brodie Presock; her sister, Saundra Ricketts of Centerville and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
In addition to her parents, Arlene is preceded in passing by her siblings, Mary Mott; John Sellen, Pat Farley, Harry Sellen and Vickie Crum.
Friends and family are invited to call the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA 16360, on Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. until the time of the service at 7:00 P.M.. Services will be officiated by Pastor Temple Jarrell from New Beginnings Church of God.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, PA 16335 or to the ANNA Shelter, 1555 E 10th St, Erie, PA 16511.

I have read of your loss and want to convey my condolences to the family and friends of Arlene. We can all look forward to a world without the pain and suffering of losing a precious life as promised in the Bible at Revelation 21:4 and 1 Thessalonians 4:14. Remembering a classmate, coworker & friend. The fun times in school and sharing stories and photos of our children and grandchildren as we grew older. To Rick and family-I was saddened to hear of Arlene’s passing. Thinking of you and remembering the many good times we had together with the PennDot Bowlers. It’s been a long time since we have seen each other but those memories remain. It’s so sad to lose your spouse & I understand your feelings.
