TOWNVILLE - Richard David Martone, Sr., 76, of Townville, passed away, Sunday, March 18, 2018 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on April 13, 1941 in Plainsville, NJ; son of the late Theodore and Alice Buttermore Martone. He married Margaret Arthur on April 12, 1969, she survives. Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating, camping and was a member of the NRA. Survivors include his two daughters, Rebecca McKenney and her husband Scott of VA; Rhonda Taylor and her husband Randy of Burwick, PA; three sons, Richard Martone, Jr., and his wife Tammy of Guys Mills; John Martone of Titusville and Brian Martone and his wife Jennifer of Meadville; eleven grandchildren, Danny, Christine, Alisha, John, Matthew, Gabriel, Sienna, Olivia, Kayleigh, Desiree and Ellen and four great grandchildren, Matthew, Luke, Lane and Lauren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Robert Martone; his brother Theodore Martone and his sister Kathleen. Friends and family are invited to call Friday, March 23, 2018, at the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA 16360, from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the services at 11:00 A.M.. Burial will take place in Kingsley Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, c/o the Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335.   2. I am so sorry to hear of Grandfather’s passing. I wish that we had been able to get to know each other. My heart goes out to all of you in your time of loss.

  3. I’m sadden to see that one of my two-way radio buddy has pasted. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends. God knows he’s getting a very good man with a big heart.
