Ella Jean Gates, 78, of Centerville, passed away, December 12, 2017 at her residence. She was born on May 15, 1939, a daughter of Richard Wallace Wood and Georgie Wood. She married Carl Gates on January 1, 1956, he survives.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed quilting, hunting, fishing and was in the society of home organists.
Ella is survived by her husband, two sons, Timothy Wayne Gates and Raymond Gates and his wife, Sherri and many grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Ella's memory can be made to the Salvation Army, 409 W. Central Ave., Titusville, PA 16354.
Arrangements are in the care of Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA.
