MEADVILLE - Mary Ann Muck Ewing, 78 of Meadville, passed away, Monday, January 30, 2017 at U.P.M.C. Montefiore, in Pittsburgh, PA. She was born on October 14, 1938, daughter of the late Regis John and Agnes Imelda Hau Muck. Mary Ann married Paul Richard Ewing in 1965. She was a graduate of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Music. She also had a diploma in piano and extension course from Sherwood Music School in Chicago, Ill. She was also a member of the Tuesday Morning Music Club. She cared for everyone she met and greeted everyone with a big smile. Mary Ann loved spending time with her grandchildren and giving them funny gifts. Her life revolved around music, faith, family and friends. She loved to travel, play cards and sing. In addition to her parents, Mary Ann was preceded in death by her husband Paul Richard Ewing, in 2002; a brother, Jerome Joseph Muck. Survivors include her two sons, Jeffrey Allan Ewing and his wife Stacey of Meadville, and Michael James Ewing and his wife Wendy of Cochranton, four grandchildren, Haley, Miah, Brandon and Kate Ewing; also a brother, Lawrence Daniel Muck and his wife Norma Jean of State College, and two sister in laws, Sandra Muck of Summitville, Ohio and Vera Ewing of Erie; also many nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to call the RYAN M. WARREN FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, INC., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335, on Thursday, February 2, 2017, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M. to 8:00P.M. The funeral service will follow at 8:00 P.M. with Deacon Todd A. Sommers, officiating. A graveside service will be held at St. Agatha Cemetery, Friday, at 10:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mary Ann’s memory to Yolanda G. Barco Oncology Institute, 16792 Conneaut Lake Rd, Meadville, PA 16335.   1. unable to attend service for Mary Ann. my thoughts and prayers are with her lovely family. Mary Ann was an amazing lady. May she rest in peace. I can picture her in heaven playing beautiful piano music for her brother Jerry.
