Nancy R. Frey, 87, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Crawford County Care Center. She was born on February 25, 1936 in Meadville, a daughter of Lorenz John "Jack' Roofner and Adelaide L. MacMillan Roofner.
She graduated from Meadville Schools and had a degree from Carnegie College in Clerical.
Nancy was employed with Riverside in Meadville where she was the head cashier for over 25 years.
She was a member of the Epiphany of the Lord Parish. In her leisure time she enjoyed gardening, going to the casino, and spending time with her family and friends.
Nancy is survived by two sons, John Frey III and his wife Amy of Pittsburgh and Robert Frey of Meadville; a daughter, Karen Frey Dividio of Meadville; her former spouse, John Frey, Jr. of Meadville; a granddaughter, Jennifer Dividio and her wife Jackie of Ohio; a brother, Christopher Roofner and his wife Debbie of Florida; a brother in law, Robert Cowan of Grove City; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a grandson, Jeremy Frey; and sisters, Rita Fahr, Teddie Cowan, and Mary Ann Collins.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Friday, May 12th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Ryan M. Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, May 13th at 11:00am at Epiphany of the Lord Parish, Saint Agatha, 353 Pine Street, Meadville with Father Jeffrey J. Lucas, pastor, as celebrant.
Burial will follow at Saint Agatha Cemetery, Meadville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Nancy's memory to the Alzheimer's Association at www.alz.org.
