L. Geraine Watkins

MEADVILLE - L. Geraine Watkins, 85, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, February 2, 2015 at U.P.M.C. Shadyside. She was born on September 22, 1929, in Meadville, daughter of the late Wiley and Dona Holbrook Stallard. Geraine married Harry Watkins, on November 4, 1950. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2009. She was employed by the Gas Company, and also did bookkeeping at her husbands garage and dealership. Geraine enjoyed oil painting, china painting and gardening. She was a long time member of Watson Run Women's Club, Vernon Lioness Club and Vernon Central Hose Company. Survivors include her two daughters, Karen Hegner and her husband Howard of VA; Nancy D'Arrigo and her husband Anthony of Wampum, PA; three sons, Richard Watkins and his wife Marian of Saegertown; Daniel Watkins of Linesville and James Watkins and his wife Cindy of Harmonsburg; eight grandchildren, Aleesa Woodcock; Jason Watkins; Katy Watkins; Judith Pizza; Leeann Hutsoit; Julie Burger; Alan Watkins, and Mathew Watkins; one sister, Lois Danielson and her husband Floyd and one brother James Stallard and his wife Betsy. Also eight great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Friends and family may call Saturday, February 7, 2015, from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the services at 12:00 P.M., at Roofer-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville, PA 16335, with Dwight Stallard officiating.
