CENTERVILLE - Ida Mae Markley went home to be with her Lord and Savior at Homestead Hearth Personal Care Center in Centerville, PA, on November 14, 2014. She was born on August 4, 1912, in Stuben, Township, Crawford County, PA, daughter of the late Grant Giles and Aica Thomas Hopkins. She married Robert Frank Markley on December 2, 1939, he precedes her in death. Ida Mae was formerly a dental assistant before marrying, where she became a wonderful homemaker and mother. She was of the Baptist Faith, and excellent seamstress, loved travel, collecting antiques, eating out and friends. She and her husband were active in 1st Baptist Church, Roch, MN. Survivors include her two sons, Craig Robert Markley of Austin, TX; and Gordon Lee Markley of Vancover, WA; and her daughter Carole Ann Markley of Meadville, PA; four grandchildren, Greg Foster; Geoff Foster, Jill Markley; and Travis Markley; six great grandchilren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ida Mae was preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 54 years Robert Markley; sisters, Gertie Tarr; and Ina Hollabaugh; and brother Stephen Hopkins. Burial will take place at Kingsley Cemetery, Townville, PA 16360. Arrangements have been entrusted into the care of Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home 33353 North Main Street, Townville, PA 16360, a branch firm of, Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made in Ida Mae's Memory, to either Homestead Hearth Personal Care Home, Hwy 77, Centerville, PA; or to the First Baptist Church Townville, 33274 N Main St, Townville, PA 16360.
