WATERFORD — Frank Edward Ketcham, 74, of Waterford, passed away Friday, Sept. 26, 2014, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on April 9, 1940, in Meadville, a son of the late Francis and Lucille DuChanois Ketcham. He married his best friend Connie Hough on July 22, 1961. He was employed by the Erie and Erie-Lackawanna railroads and also transported cars for New Motors of Erie and Champion Ford of Edinboro. Frank was proud to serve his country in the U.S. Navy. Frank enjoyed painting, basketball, football and building and had a passion for coaching football, baseball and basketball. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Connie Ketcham; three daughters, Michelle Powell and her husband, Gary, of Meadville, Crystal Johnson of Waterford, and Staci Pritchard of Saegertown; his son, Frank E. Ketcham III and his wife, Kelly, of Clarksville, Tenn.; 12 grandchildren, Jessica Brown, Jack Donahue, Jade Donahue, Moriah Solano, Jared Johnson, Mason Johnson, Griffin Ketcham, Dakotah, Kaige and Cutter’B Pritchard, Frank IV and Payton Ketcham; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Nancy Perterson of Meadville and Sondra Sisson of Peabody, Mass.; his sisters-in-law, Sarah Kosack and her husband, Gary, of Erie, and Liz Amatulli and her husband, Lance, of Arizona; his brother-in-law, Donald Hough of North Carolina; his dear friend, Ron Curtiss; his beloved cat, Stormy; and many nieces and nephews whom he mentored throughout his life. Frank was preceded in death by his daughters, Connie and Wendy Renee; a sister, Joanne Hogue; and his best friend, Dick Servero. Family and Friends may call Tuesday from 4 p.m. until the time of the service at 6 p.m. at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. Private interment will take place in Venango Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, c/o Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home, 544 Chestnut St., Meadville, Pa. 16335.
