Harold J. Dilley, 74, of Meadville, passed away, Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on August 26, 1939 in Dunmore, West Virginia, a son of June G. Dilley and Edna Lee Jones Dilley. He married Joyce E. Snow on April 2, 1966. She survives. He was a 1957 graduate of Meadville High School. He went to the electrician apprenticeship program and became a journeyman electrician. He was a member of the IBEW 712. He served his country with the United States National Guard. Harold worked for Ethridge Electric and later purchased the business. He liked to work on street rods and classic cars and attending car shows and events. He enjoyed watching sports and being with his grandchildren. He and his wife loved to travel and visited all 50 states in the U.S. In addition to his loving wife Joyce Dilley of Meadville; he is survived by a son Brian Dilley and his wife Tara of Linesville; a daughter, Barbara Eisenberger and her husband Charles of Meadville; grandchildren, Morgan Dilley, Cody Stivanson, and Scott Stivanson; great grandchildren, Jamison, Rylan and Bristol; a sister, Wilma Brown of Chicago, Illinios; a brother, Jerry Dilley and his wife Judy of Richland, Washington; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Carolyn Shartle Dilley; and an infant brother, Denny Dilley. Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, July 14th from 4:00pm to 7:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 15th at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor David Brumagin, Chaplin of Meadville Medical Center, officiating. Burial will take place in Greendale Cemetery, Meadville.
