Betty J. Palmiero, 89, of Meadville, passed away, Monday, November 4, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center. She was born April 10, 1924 in Cambridge Springs, Pennsylvania a daughter of Albert Marzka and Martha Bickerstaff Marzka. She married Henry Palmiero on July 3, 1942, he preceded her in death on October 6, 2002. Betty was a graduate of Cambridge Springs High School and she was a co-owner of Palmiero T.V. and Betty's Drive Inn. She was a member of the Avon Dealer President Club, Avon Honor Society, and loved playing bingo. Betty was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. She is survived by two sons, Larry Palmiero and his wife Patricia of Meadville and Kenneth Palmiero and his wife Cheryl of Florida; grandchildren, Jode Palmiero, Kevin Palmiero, Amy Palmiero-Winters, Jeffrey Palmiero, Jennifer Palmiero, Tracy Palmiero, Jr., and Lisa Palmiero; ten great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband, Henry of 60 years she was also preceded in death by a two sons, James Palmiero and Tracy Palmiero and his wife Pamela Palmiero; a grandson, Keith Allen Palmiero; two sisters, Louise Baker and Anna Mae Bogda; and a brother, Joseph Marzka. Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday, November 7th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be be held at the funeral home on Friday, November 8th at 10:00am with Pastor David Brumagin, officiating. Burial will take place at Saint Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township.
