Jerry T. Kightlinger, Sr., 81 of 634 Jefferson St., Meadville passed away Tuesday, October 1, 2013 surrounded by his loving family at Meadville Medical Center after a lengthy illness. He was born September 27, 1932 the son of Theodore and Mildred Bryan. He married Agnes Marie Consla on March 10, 1956 in Titusville. Jerry was a graduate of Behrend College and worked at Horne Textile in Titusville for 32 years.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 57 years Agnes, and his 3 loving sons; Jerry Jr. and wife Penny of Titusville; John and wife Linny of Meadville; and Jay and wife Aggie of Pleasantville. Nine Grandchildren, Amanda, Ben, Danny, Chelsea, Carressa, Samantha, Nicholas, Jeremy, and Shannon. Two sisters, Leora (Glenn) Waybright and Carole Filson, two brothers Robert (Sherry) Bryan, and Theodore Bryan, Jr., sister- in-law Beatrice Munson and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Jerry was loved by all who knew him and always greeted everyone with a smile. He enjoyed spending time with his loving family and friends. He was an avid Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers fan and loved golfing, fishing, and hunting and especially spending time at camp.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Saturday, October 5th from 11:00am to 3:00pm at Saint Brigid Roman Catholic Church Social Hall, 383 Arch Street, Meadville.
