Helen C. Beers

Helen C. Beers 85, of Meadville, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2013, at her residence. She was born October 11, 1927 in Pittsburgh, a daughter to the late Orin Easley and Edith Walker. Helen married Howard L. Beers October 14, 1967 whom has preceded her in death. She owned and operated the Style Shop in Meadville and retired in 1971. Helen was a member of St. Brigid Church and Ladies Auxiliary VFW 2006. Helen enjoyed camping, crossword puzzles and animals. She also enjoy her family and spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include a daughter Lisa Beers of Sharpsville, PA; a son, Robert Beers and his wife Michelle of Titusville, PA; three grandchildren, Andrew, Karissa and Josh Beers; one great-grandchild Jackson. Calling hours will be held Monday, September 16, 2013 from 5-8 P.M at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home, 544 Chestnut St., Meadville with a vigil prayer service starting at 7: 45 P.M, Monday. A Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, September 17, 2013 at 10.00 A.M. at St. Brigid Church located 383 Arch St., Meadville. Interment will be in St. Brigid Cemetery. In lieu of flowers , memorial contributions may be made to St. Brigid Church, 383 Arch St. Meadville, PA.
