Sara L. Weston

Sara L. Weston, 91, formerly of Meadville, passed away, Sunday, May 12, 2013 at Crawford County Care Center. She was born June 12, 1921 in Mill Creek Township, Mercer County a daughter of Ralph E. Kerr and Ula Urey Kerr. She married Irwin H. Weston in March of 1943. He preceded her in death in April of 1961. Sara was a graduate of Sandy Lake High School and Penn State University. She worked at the Keystone Ordance Works and retired from the cost department at Talon after 39 years of service. She is survived by two nieces, Amanda W. Hodgson of Clino Valley, Arizona and Katherine W. Barrow of Bonita California; In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by a sister, Margaret K. White; and a nephew, Thomas K. White. There will be no local services or calling hours. Burial will take place in Oak Hill Cemetery.
