Larry W. Calvin

Larry W. Calvin, 61, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Meadville Medical Center. He was born on July 15, 1951 a son of Virgil Calvin and Irene Greene Calvin. He married Bonnie L. Weaver on November 1, 1990, she survives. He was employed by Conrail for 30 years as a foreman. Larry was a member of the United Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer. He enjoyed camping, fishing, spending time with his grandchildren, and was an avid NASCAR fan especially Dale Earnhardt. In addition to his loving wife Bonnie of 22 years he is survived by two daughters, Shelly Martin and her husband Rick of Colu mbus, Ohio and Stacy Hagberg of Meadville; five grandchildren, Dante Hagberg, Connor Martin, Aiden Hagberg, Cooper Martin, and Nick Blakeslee; a sister in law, Nancy Weaver of Meadville; and a brother in law, Terry Shook of Jamestown, Pennsylvania. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother in lawn, Harold Calvin; and a daughter, Melissa Blakeslee. Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, April 17th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 18th at 11:00 A.M. the funeral home with Reverend Rachel Johns of United Presbyterian Church of the Redeemer, officiating. The committal service and burial will follow at Mushrush Cemetery, East Fallowfield Township.
