Mary C. Weaver, 84, of Crawford County Care Center, passed away, Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Meadville Medical Center. She was born September 1, 1928 in Grove City, Pennsylvania a daughter of Wallace Lang and Esther Eckle Lang. She married Richard L. Weaver of October 1, 1949, he preceded her in death on March 22, 1988. She was a 1946 graduate of Franklin High School and attended Spencer Hospital of Nursing from 1946-1949. After finishing nursing school she was employed by Meadville City Hospital as a LPN. Mary was a member of Saint Brigid Roman Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. She loved spending time with with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Mary is survived by three daughters, Mary Newsome and her husband Tom of Springfield, Missouri, Arlene Kelley and her husband Paul of Meadville, and Cathy Rounds and her husband Reid of Blooming Valley; ten grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; two sisters, Rita Weaver of Toms River, New Jersey and Esther O'Brien of Oil City; one brother, Robert Lang and his wife Susie of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her loving husband Richard of nearly 39 years, Mary was preceded is death by her parents; two daughters, Dorothy Starks and Marlene Williams; three grandchildren, Chad Coleman, Tracy Williams, and Sarah Rounds; and a brother, Joseph Lang. Family and friends are welcome to call on Thursday, December 27th from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 28th at 11:00am with Father Matthew Kujawinski, pastor, of Saint Agatha Roman Catholic Church, officiating. Burial will follow in Saint Brigid Cemetery, West Mead Township. Memorial donations may be made in Mary's Memory to Crawford County Care Center, Activities Fund, 20881 State Highway 198, Saegertown, PA 16433.
