  1. I’m one of Art Boyce’s kids and Art lived next door to Rena. I want you all to know that Rena enriched our lives more than you’ll ever know. My husband and I live in Houston so when we’d come to Meadville to visit my parents, our second stop was a beeline over to Rena’s to catch up on her latest news and enjoy whatever she’d taken from the oven. She’d let us use her computer, fill us in on the latest news of the neighborhood and share a big dose of love. It leaves a big hole in our hearts to know that the last time we visited her in October really was the last time until we all get to heaven. She’ll be very much missed.

  2. Who could ask for a better “Great Aunt??” This woman was the spark plug in so many people’s lives. I remember when we used to travel from Michigan to PA to visit her brother George (My grandfather), Aunt Rena was always full of laughter and jokes. What a special lady she was. The sweaky way she said my Dad’s name “Georgie” (Yeah-he never let any of us call him that!!) just made me smile. Judy and Bill, we will treasure the time we got to spend with her forever!! Love, Becky

  3. Just wanted to add my voice to others who say how they will miss Rena. When my son was little she’d have him over so he could practice his piano while we stayed at my parents. She’d sit & chat & it was if he had another grandparent in Meadville. Our entire family would run to her house when we got into town to sit a while & chat. she will be missed.

  4. Mrs. Williams was a wonderful lady, she was my neighbor when I was growing up. I will pray for her and offer my condolence to her family, may she rest in peace.
