Katheleen E. Wright Carpenter, 77, of Townville, peacefully left this earth to the presence of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ of Sunday morning, September 30, 2012, from her home. She was born on April 28, 1935 in Cutting, New York, the youngest daughter of Sibley Wright and Donna Austin Wright. She married James R. Carpenter on October 20, 1956, he survives.
Kathleen graduated from Clymer High School working at the Dutch Treat Restaurant in Clymer and Corry-Jamestown before marrying and moving to Townville where she worked at Rex Carpenter Packing Company and Super Duper in Meadville.
She and her husband faithfully attended church over the years, she served God's people in many capacities, and had a heart for missions and missionaries. She loved to sing, which she is finally able to do again in glory, as well as, entertain, cook, bake, decorate cakes, and sew. She dearly loved her grandchildren and spent many late night hours sewing a variety of hand-made creations for them.
In addition to her husband she is survived by two daughters, Carol McAdams and her husband Carl of Townville and Christine Carpenter Billman and her husband Steve of Townville; two sons, Jeffrey Carpenter and his wife Debbie of Meadville and Mark Carpenter and his wife Shari of Spring Creek; a daughter in Christ, Soledad Carias and her husband Renan of Miami, Florida; two sisters, Helen Wright of Jamestown and Rachel Elia and her husband Salvatore of Jamestown; fourteen grandchildren, Caleb McAdams, Jessica Spragg and her husband Don, Rachael Shaw and her husband D.J., Jenna Thiessen and her husband Adam, Mollie Nageotte, Cassandra, Kelsey, and Casey Carpenter, Ashley Giangiordano and her husband Jacob, Alissa, Joshua, Katelyn, Lindsey, James Carpenter; seven great grandchildren, Sophie Spragg, Kersten Nageotte, Henry Shaw, Wyatt and Daniel Thiessen, and Trinity and Violet Karges; and three dear sisters in the lord, Marge Smith, Ruth Smith, and Julianne Van Cise.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Merle Wright, killed in World War II; and a sister, Ruth Wallace.
A celebration service of Kathleen's life will be held at the family's convenience at a later date.

Very sorry to hear of the passing of Kathleen. I always enjoyed my visits. I wish I would have known her in better health. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
