Robert W. Phillips, 53, of Meadville, passed away, Saturday, October 29, 2011 at his sisters residence surrounded by his loved ones, after a long courageous battle with cancer. He was born February 1, 1958 in Sagnaw, Michigan, a son of Robert W. Phillips and Lorraine Breth Marroulis.
He was employed with Powell's Sanitation for over 27 years and was a US Army Veteran stationed in Germany.
He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and was involved in several clubs and organizations including The American Legion Post 111, American Legion Riders, Son of the legion post 111, and Vernon Central Volunteer Fire Department.
He is survived by his mother Lorraine Breth Marroulis and her husband Robert Marroulis of Meadville; his step-father, James Breth of Meadville; a daughter, Josie Miller of Meadville; two sons, Brad Snyder of Sheffield, PA and Chase Snyder of Meadville; a grandson, Riley; three sisters, Jane Tatters and her husband Robert of Guys Mills, Theresa Hollis and her companion Justin Smith of Meadville; Kerri Bish and her husband William of Cochranton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Robert W. Phillips and his grandparents.
Family and friends are welcome to call on Monday, October 31st from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will be on Tuesday, November 1st at 10:30am at the funeral home with Pastor Robert Trask of Hickernell United Methodist Church, officiating. Following the funeral service full military honors with be presented by VFW Post 2006 Color Guard with Gary Lee Shidemantle friend of the family to perform taps.

I am so sorry to hear of Bubbas passing. He was a dear friend of mine and my brother Mike Smith’s. He will be sadly missed by so many. I know he is in the hands of the Lords now and not in pain. You all have my sincere sympathy.

To my family ,I love each and everyone of you.This is a very hard time for all of us ,thank god we have each other. I want to say a speacial thank you to Jane ,you did what we could not . Thank you my sissy.I love you all. And to my brother ,Im gonna miss you sooo much,you where my protector,my friend,and you loved to pick on your sisters,some times you where mean,but I mostly looked up to you ,I wanted to be just like you!I was very very proud to call you my brother,and thank you for leaving me with a brother ,your brother Jerry, Rob you know he will always be here for us . This is for the whole family. For everybody that came to see my dad and to support and love him. But I want to give a special thanks to my aunt janie for taking care of my dad for the past couple years. I have so many great family memnbers. You guys are the best you are all in my prayers every night. Even if I don’t see you much you have a special place in my heart. Same with my dad, everybody had a specail place in his heart. But I wish the best for everybody and i know that dad is up in heven and riding his harley. God bless him and everybody who cared for him. Love you guys.
