Grandpa, I will miss you soooo much!! The twinkle in your bright blue eyes and that sly smile you always had when you loved teasing those who were special to you. All the times I was lucky enough to get to spend the night at your house and getting to stay up late watching a movie, eating popcorn, and having your special homemade fudge. All the funny stories you would tell. How you would lovingly tease Grandma (that’s when that twinkle in your eyes shone the most). I’m so glad my children were able to be a part of your life, they loved their Gramps so much. It hurts not having you here but I know that you are now in a much better place and now my brother gets to have you watch over him in Heaven. I will love and miss you forever!! Love Always, Sonya
Dear Gramps, I hope you had a wonderful time when we were last together and I just hope that you have a nice life in Heaven. Thank you for being the best great grandpa I ever had. Love, Owen
Gramps,
You were the best great grandparent I had. I hope you have a good time in Heaven and you get to see all the Angels. I wish you were still here.
Love,
Ethan
Ms Maxine, We are so thankful that God allowed us to visit with both of you at Westbury (just one month ago) to celebrate our “close” wedding anniversaries and share some precious moments with joy and laughter. We will ALWAYS remember Richard as the first person to welcome us with a hearty hand-shake, and a BIG smile, at Bible Baptist Church! Just imagine the thrill of his heart when his eyes closed here on earth and opened in Heaven with his Lord!! We love you, and we will be praying for you and the family as you grieve this great loss. ** Roger & Beverly from NC **

You have my deepest sympathy in the loss of such a wonderful man, I waited on you many years at Ricci’s. I so enjoyed your visit and we had so many laughs, those were the good old days. We recently had a nice visit again in the grocery store. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

To my dear Grandfather ( Richard Walton), I am deeply saddened to hear of the death.I know this is a difficult time for the family and friends. Grandpa was such a happy soul. We didn’t really get to grow up by him as we live California but the time we spent with them he was always kind and gentle. I have fond memories of going on vacation to Pennsylvania with my mother(Cathy Hart) and always returning looking like little Orphan Annie with a perm in my hair. I encourage the family to have strength from God and strength from family at this time. Grandpa Walton will always be remembered.
My sympathy and prayers go out to the Walton Family. My parents are members of Bible Baptist Church and I used to be when I was a little girl. I have since moved away. I remember Mr. Walton always had a smile on his face and always gave hugs. He was like a grandfather to me. Will miss his dearly.
I really enjoyed speaking with Richard and miss seeing him. Best wishes and deepest sympathies to his wife and family.
