Melvin "Skeet" W. Wiley, 67, of 18696 New Richmond Road, Cambridge Springs, passed away on April 9, 2011 at his residence. He was born on June 8, 1943 the son of Doyle Wiley and Elizabeth "Jim" Steele-Farr, step-mother Alice Wiley, and step-father Eugene Farr. He was a high school graduate in Chicago,IL and attended vocational school after graduation. He was an active US Navy soldier during the Vietnam War. After his honorable discharge with the Navy he did his Tool & Die apprenticeship at Talon. He was employed at Tresco Tool & Die for 20 years and then he owned and operated Wiley E.D.M., until his retirement. Skeet enjoyed hunting, fishing, the outdoors, and NASCAR. He loved the country life. He was a member of the National Rifle Association. Survivors include his former wife Nancy A. Coy of Cambridge Springs, his step-mother Alice, a daughter Dusty Wiley of Cambridge Springs, three sons Gary Wiley and his wife Alice of Grove City, Dale Wiley of Greenville, and Brian Wiley and his wife Regina of Louisville, KY, grandchildren Caleb, Ethan, Gabe, and Noah Wiley of Grove City, Cheyenne, Dessey, and Gage Wiley of Bristol, Connecticut, a brother Mick Wiley and his wife Susie of Conneautville; five sisters, Lorna Hawkins and her husband Bill, Pattie Land of Indianapolis, Indiana, Susie Stevens and her husband Dan, Cindy Wiard of Meadville, PA, Diana McConnel and her husband Russ of Michigan and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Elizabeth "Jim", Step-father Eugene Farr, Father Doyle Wiley and a niece Kelsey Land. Calling hours will be on Tuesday April 12, 2011 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Willis L. Arnold Funeral Home 33353 N. Main Street, Townville, PA, a branch of Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc. Funeral Service will be on Wednesday April 13, 2011 at 11:00am at the funeral home with Pastor Jeff Bobin of New Richmond United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Meadville, PA with full military honors by VFW Post 2006 colorguard.
