Agnes Lodica Reagle

SAEGERTOWN ��” Agnes Lodica Torrey Reagle, 90, formerly of Cussewago Road and Hillside Home, and presently of Crawford County Care Center, Saegertown, died Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Crawford County Care Center. Born Jan. 24, 1920, she was a daughter of Leonard M. and Ruby E. Colter Torrey. She married Fred D. Reagle on Sept. 3, 1947; he preceded her in death in 1978. She was a 1939 graduate of Townville High School, where she was on the high school basketball team. She worked at Talon Manufacturing, and after that, she worked as a housekeeper. She enjoyed sewing, quilting and puzzles. She had received a certificate from the Crawford County Republican Party for 50 years of straight voting. She enjoyed swimming at the YWCA, loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. She had a lifetime membership to Weight Watchers. She was affiliated with Grace United Methodist Church and was active in the circles at the church. Survivors include a daughter, Virginia Hummer and her husband, Richard, of Townville; a granddaughter, Deborah Szitas and her husband, Mark, of Meadville; a grandson, Dr. Robert Crisman Jr. and his wife, Jamie, of Duncan, S.C.; two stepgrandsons, Douglas Hummer of Raleigh, N.C., and Dale Hummer and his wife, Donna, of St. Cloud, Fla.; a stepgranddaughter, Laura Dempsey of Townville; two great-grandchildren, Torry and Matthew; and eight stepgreat-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Calling hour will be Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m. at Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. The funeral and committal service will follow at 11 a.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Goodnough of Grace United Methodist Church and Pastor Michael Fraser of Lyona Bible Church officiating. Burial will be in Venango Cemetery, Venango Township.
