Meadville Tribune MEADVILLE " Charles Edward Ketcham Jr., 73, of 13390 Denny Road, Meadville, died Saturday, April 17, 2010, at Meadville Medical Center. He was born April 6, 1937, in Meadville, a son of Charles Edward Ketcham and Everyl Miriam Prall. He married Winifred Larson on March 30, 1957. He was a 1955 graduate of Meadville High School. He attended Brigham Young University. He was a pastor at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for 10 years. He was very devoted to his church, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, and loved helping others. He was a journeyman tool maker and owned and operated Ketcham Diversified Tooling until his retirement in 2006. He had his pilot’s license and enjoyed flying. He also enjoyed riding four-wheelers; loved designing and fixing things; and was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Survivors, in addition to his wife, Winifred Ketcham, of 53 years, include three daughters, September Ketcham of Ocala, Fla., Shannon Feist and her husband, Rob, of Pittsburgh, and Amy Ketcham of Meadville; four sons, Tim Ketcham of Meadville, Joseph Ketcham, Michael Ketcham and his wife, Shannon, of Gaston, S.C., and Jeffrey Ketcham and his wife, Meredith, of Meadville; a sister, Barbara Jean Mattocks and her husband, Robert, of Beaver Falls; a brother, Gerald Ketcham and his wife, Barbara Ann, of Meadville; 38 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Ketcham; his mother, Everyl Miriam Prall; a son, David Ketcham; and a grandson, Nicholas Ketcham. There will be no calling hours. A memorial service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, with Michael Welter, bishop, officiating. Burial will be in Denny Cemetery, Vernon Township. Donations may be made to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints humanitarian fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Roofner-Collins Funeral Home Inc., 544 Chestnut St., Meadville.
