Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. Know that we are thinking of the family and praying for you all. Mary and Ray have blessed our family through the years.

  2. My heart is full of great memories as I write this. Memories of Uncle Bill and Aunt Donna who got married when I was 7 years old.I never understood why they were always holding hands and my mom and dad were always fighting until I got older. They weren’t just that way to each other. They were always that way to anyone who came through their door. I remember when my Dad was working at the Railroad with Uncle Bill. It was Erie Lacawanna then. They would put a map of Australia on their kitchen table and talk of the day when they could make a big trip there together and go exploring. I grew up with Marty,Pam and Billy. Now at 57 years old I know that whatever I have in this life means nothing when you’re gone except the great children you leave behind to carry on your example.

  3. Oh David that was beautiful. (and you can’t be 57 yrs old, I’m only 64 and you were such a little kid). I also have memories of Donna and Bill always holding hands and smiling. A true love story. WOW 50 yrs I can remember you two just dating when you lived down the dirt road from us. I know from experience that when you lose your soul mate, it is a very hard adjustment . I will always be here for you Donna and God will strengthen you thru it all. Just trust in him. And call me when ever you are feeling lonely. I will come over and we’ll do lunch.

  4. Over the last few months I have spent endless hours in the hospital with my dad and mom. Having many discussions with my mom about life in general about her and dad.The one thing that will always stick with me the rest of my life is the pure love those two have for each other.I believe deep in my heart my dad tried to hold on until friday so him and mom could celebrate there 50th wedding anniversary. I believe the mind was willing ,but the body was wore out.Through all of this I saw my mom as a tower of strenth, she never wavierd on her beliefs and stood by her husband. No matter how tired she was ever day she mustered up the strength and took care of my dad. She is my hero.My dad is now in gods hands, please pray for my mom because wiil need our prays and strenth to help her.
