Ruth Schultz

Ruth Schultz, 85, of 175 Schultz Lane, Franklin, died at 10:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at UPMC Northwest. Born Dec. 10, 1922 in Harrisville she was the daughter of the late John G. Coast and Eunice M. Buchanan. Mrs. Schultz as a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. She graduated from nursing school in Cleveland and was a registered nurse. She was married March 14, 1946 in Cleveland to Harry Schultz, who survives. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schultz is survived by four children, Michael Schultz and his wife, Sally, of McDonald; Michele Crisman of Franklin; Melissa Daubenspeck and her husband, Dave, of Franklin; and Mark Schultz and his wife, Ella, of Franklin. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, Phaedra Crisman of Mechanicsville, Va.; Ryan Crisman of Portland, Ore.; Isaiah Daubenspeck of Pittsburgh; Elijah Daubenspeck of Clarion; Jeremiah Schultz of Seneca; Jessica Schultz of Pittsburgh; Jacob Schultz of Franklin; Eric Schultz and his wife, Karen, of Bethel Park PA; Stephen Schultz & his Wife, Melissa of Akron, OH; Lynn Sham and her husband, Rich, of Greenville, S.C.; Jason Schultz and his wife, Angela, of Shippenville; and Bradley Schultz and his wife, Gennifer, of McDonald. Mrs. Schultz is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Schultz was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Alyce Anderson, and a son-in-law, Ronald Crisman. There will be a private visitation and private service at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Pat Ellis of Heckathorn United Methodist Church will officiate.
