Regina Mae Collins, 88, of Meadville, went to be with her saviour at home on, Saturday, March 30, 2013 in the presence of her loving family. She was born on December 11, 1924 a daughter of Clarence Diehl and Matilda Smith. She married Frank Gayle Collins of October 27, 1945, he preceded her in death on May 5, 1999. She was a graduate of Meadville Area High School. Regina enjoyed a long career in food service, hotel management, and as well as raising her family. She was dedicated to her large extended family as well as the many beagle dogs she enjoyed as pets throughout her life. She is survived by a daughter, Regina "Gena" Eileen Collins of Meadville; and a large and loving extended family of the Alexander's, the Petruso's, the Anthons', the Andrews', the Collins', and the Monnie's. In addition to her loving husband she was preceded in death by her siblings, Harold Diehl, Mary Snowden, Ruth Monnie, and Eileen Andrews. Family and friends are welcome to call on Wednesday, April 3rd from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 544 Chestnut Street, Meadville. The funeral service will follow at the funeral home at 1:00pm with Reverend Ellen Rezek, officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Harmonsburg.   1. Gena, Such a beautiful picture of your mom! I have good memories of the times your folks hosted all of from Edinboro and the wonderful dinners they provided. They sure did treat us so very special. We are so sorry to hear this, but certainly know how much your mom appreciated everything you did for her, you’re a great daughter!
