Paul R Shoffstall

Paul R. Shoffstall, 70, of 258 Allenbaugh Road, Franklin, died at 10 a.m Monday, Aug. 17, 2009, in his home. Born April 18, 1939, in Franklin, he was the son of Walter and Frances Bean Shoffstall. He was married Nov. 25, 1966 to the former Gloria Austin, who survives He had worked as a machinist at Franklin Bronze and also as a maintenance worker at Franklin Cemetery. Mr. Shoffstall enjoyed woodworking, taking care of his farm and, most of all, spending time with his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Paul W. Shoffstall and his friend, Terri Roberts, of Franklin; a daughter, Paula Cielepak and her husband, Dan, of Franklin; five grandchildren, James Shoffstall, Michael Shoffstall, Tristan Todd, Alisha Shoffstall and Steven Shoffstall, all of Franklin; a brother, Walter A. Shoffstall of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Shoffstall, and two sisters, Geraldine Whitman and Lola Sanford. Friends will be received from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the funeral home with the Rev.
