Norma Butrick

MEADVILLE " Norma Butrick, 63, of 16395 Park Ave. Ext., Meadville, died Thursday, Jan. 20, 2011, at Meadville Medical Center. She was born in Meadville on March 25, 1947, a daughter of Arthur J. and Rita G. Marhoefer Crannell. She retired after 39 years at Saegertown Manufacturing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and enjoyed leather working. She was a member of New Beginnings Church of God. Survivors include a daughter, Kathy Sheckler and Robert Pipper of Meadville; two grandsons, Pvt. Shawn Sheckler of San Angelo, Texas, and his fiancée, Heather Bogardus of Guys Mills, and Ron Foulk Jr. of Meadville; two granddaughters, Ivy Sheckler and Brittnay Pipper, both of Meadville; a great-grandchild, Bentley Sheckler of Guys Mills; a sister, Shirley Crannell of Meadville; a brother, Charles Crannell of Kentucky; a sister-in-law, Debra Crannell of Guys Mills; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Larry Crannell. Calling hours will be Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Roofner-Collins-Warren Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 544 Chestnut St., Meadville. The memorial service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at New Beginnings Church of God, 13226 Leslie Road, Meadville, with Pastor Temple Jarrell officiating.
