Nina Watson

Nina Watson, 65, of 1212 Chestnut Street, Franklin, died, Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 2:58 pm at UPMC Northwest Medical Center, Seneca. Born April 19, 1944 in Franklin, she was the daughter of Joseph and Jessedean Lawson Brown. Nina cleaned the homes of several local families. She was a member of the Erie Street Church of God. Nina enjoyed fishing, dance and her friends and family. She was married June 1, 1974 to Robert Watson, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three sons, Alonzo Johnson of Franklin, Robert Lee Watson III of Franklin, and Wesley Steven Watson of Oil City; her brother, Charles Lawson of Tucson, Arizona; and her niece, Tammy Brown of Franklin Nina is also survived by her five grandchildren, Alonzo Johnson, II and Odessa E. Johnson of Butler, and Brittany Kluck, Tameika Watson, and Jania Watson all of Oil City; Three step-grandchildren; several step-great grandchildren; Five great nephews; and three great nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Isabelle L. Brown; and a granddaughter, Shaquala. Friends will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Tuesday, February 16, 2010 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and Wednesday, February 17, 2010 from 9-11 am. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at the Funeral Home. The family suggests memorials be made to the family in care of Tammy Brown. My heart is saddened to find out that you have passed. You were such a very kind hearted woman. I am going to miss you and have thought of you often, since I moved from Franklin to Reading, Pa. My thoughts and prayers go out to your son Rob and to your whole entire family. I love you Nina! Love, Marcy!
Nina was such a wonderful person. We use to hang around some back in the late 70’s. She will sadly be missed. My prayers & thoughts are with your family
