Lois E. Baker Lois E. Baker, 79, of Chestnut Street, Franklin, passed away at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23 at UPMC Northwest in Seneca. Born May 21, 1931, in Franklin, Lois was the daughter of the late Clarence and Helen Martin Kelly. She was married to Billy L. (Nick) Baker on December 2, 1949, and he preceded her in death in 2005. Mrs. Baker was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Franklin. She was a devoted mother and grandmother, and especially loved the times she spent with her family. She enjoyed flowers, ceramics, neighboring, and decorating. Mrs. Baker is survived by her children Ray L. Baker and his wife, Paula of Philadelphia, and Tammy Brown and her husband, William, of Franklin; her grandchildren, Alex Brown of Franklin, Angie Mulvey of Philadelphia, and Bill Baker and his wife, Lauri, of Mount Holly, North Carolina; and her great-grandchildren, Josie Mulvey, Raelie Mulvey and Luke Mulvey, all of Philadephia, and Payton Baker of Charlotte, North Carolina. She is also survived by her sisters, Dorothy Brown and her husband, Robert, and Connie Roydes, all of Franklin; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her brothers, Paul R. Kelly and Donald Kelly; and her sisters-in-law, Susan Kelly and Eleanor Kelly. Friends and family of Mrs. Baker will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc. 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Friday, March 25, from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, March 26 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Richard Harry, pastor of Franklin First United Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the McGuire Memorial - 2119 Mercer Road, New Brighton, PA 15066.
