Kenneth Lee Klinger Kenneth Lee Klinger, 64, of Washington Avenue, Oil City, passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at his residence, following a courageous battle with cancer. Born, April 29, 1947, Kenneth was the son of the late Wayne G. and Pearl V. Shields Klinger, Sr. He was a United States Army Reserve Veteran having served from 1974-1977. During his time in the Reserves, Kenneth was employed as a machine operator and a truck driver. He enjoyed working on cars and watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins. Kenneth is survived by his two sons, Kenneth Lee Klinger, Jr. and his wife, Sherry, of Franklin, and Erik Wayne Klinger and his wife, Robyn, of Seneca; his two daughters, Patricia Leigh Klinger of Oleopolis, PA, and Natasha Marie Klinger of Oil City; and his four grandchildren, Kaylyn Klinger, Ethan Dailey, Alec Klinger, and Kaiden Dailey. He is also survived by his companion, Shirley Klinger of Oil City. He is additionally survived by his two brothers, Wayne G. Klinger, Jr. and David Klinger and his wife, Kelly, all of Franklin; and his two sisters, Karen Eisenhooth and her husband, Lonnie, of Thomasvile, PA, and Shelly Long of Franklin. Friends and family of Kenneth will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Thursday, May 19 from 10 a.m to 12 p.m. noon. A Memorial Service for Kenneth will be held at the Funeral Home at 12 p.m. noon Thursday, May 19, with Rev. Susan Evans, Venango VNA Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
