April 28, 1976 ~ April 24, 2012
Kelly L. Beers, 35, of 13th Street Franklin, went to heaven at 10:15 a.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2012 after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. Born April 28, 1976 in Titusville, PA, she was the daughter of Manuel P. Beers and Karen Lee Campbell. Kelly was an assistant manager for Advanced Auto Parts in both Franklin and Meadville. She truly enjoyed her work and it kept her out of cooking. She enjoyed her children and her brothers and their mischief. She brought smiles and laughter into every room she entered. She cared for and loved people. She was kind and protected her friends and family. She is survived by her son, Luke Anthony-Lee Miller of Jackson Center, whom she loved most dearly; three brothers, Jason Beers and his wife, Kimmie of Brookville, Joshua Beers and Melissa Kirtchner of Franklin, and Manuel (Bucky) S. Beers of Franklin; her father, Manuel P. Beers, his wife, Janet, and their children of Transfer, PA; her mother, Karen L. Beers of Franklin; and her paternal grandmother, Donna I. Beers of Franklin. Kelly is also survived by her nieces and nephews, who lightened her days with smiles, hugs, and laughter, Kelly L. Beers and Jason Beers of Kentucky; Trenton and Vanessa Beers of Brookville; Damien and Selena Beers of Franklin; and many more cherished little ones. She is additionally survived by her aunts and uncles, Michael and Tammy Shaffer of Seneca; Jamie Tafoya and son of Seneca, Michael and Stephanie Shaffer and their children of Oil City, Brittany Shaffer of Seneca, Kandy Beers of Cranberry; Mike and Patsy Bell of Rockland and their children; Russ Beers and children of Rockland; Randy and Donna Aarons and children of Rockland; Tom and Kris Cross and children of Rockland; and Suzette Beers and son of Rockland. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents Don and Mary Campbell of Rockland and her paternal grandfather Braden Beers of Rockland, and her Uncle Braden (Buck) Beers of Rockland. All will keep her company. Kelly's courage and strength through her fight was amazing. She never lost hope in miracles. She always said, "celebrate life and getting old is a privilege." Friends will be received at the Gardiner Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin on Friday, April 27, 2012 from 3-6 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home, following visitation, at 6 p.m. on Friday with the Rev. Dear Family. I was so sorry to hear of your recent loss; though I did not have the privilege of knowing Kelly, bI was touched by reading her story and her positive outlook on life. I hope my favorite scripture found at Revelation 21:4 can bring you the same comfort, speaking of a time when pain and death are gone forever .
Most Sincerely,
Leah Kurcsics
