Joyce E. Moriarty, 77, of Patchel Run Road, Franklin, died at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 18, 2011 at the Caring Place in Franklin. Born April 5, 1934 in Franklin, PA, she was the daughter of the late Chester and Harriett Beggs. Joyce was a Registered Nurse in the state of California. She was a member of the Franklin Church of the Nazarene. She enjoyed raising flowers and loved animals. She was married on September 27, 1975 to John Moriarty, who survives. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Lorri Wilson and her husband, Mark of Waldo, FL; 11 grandchildren; and 7 great grandchildren. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her two sons, Charles and William Castner; two brothers Harold and Gerald Beggs; and her sister, Janet Gates. Services will be held at the convenience of the family. The family suggests that memorials be made to the American Cancer Society, PA Division, Inc., PO Box 896, Hershey, PA 17033-0896 and/or the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Ste. 1010, Rockville, MD 20752-9813. I am so sorry to hear of the boss’ passing. Even though she was so ill, she was always smiling & joking with us. On top of it all, she had to put up with you & me joking back. God bless you & I will keep you in my prayers. I will miss our early morning emergency room visits!, Love Trish Baker RN
