Frances M. Couch

Frances M. Couch Frances M. Couch, 91, of 351 Causeway Drive, Franklin (formerly of Cooperstown), passed away at 6:15 p.m., January 1, 2012 at Sugar Creek Station, where she had resided for the past year. Born December 31, 1920 in Franklin, Frances was the daughter of the late Stanley Joseph and Rose Ann Marinuke Ruditis. She was married to Robert E. Couch on February 3, 1939 and he preceded her in death in 1971. Frances worked at the Franklin Hospital as a custodian and retired from there after working many years. Frances is survived by her son, Clyde R. Couch and his wife, Sandra, of Cooperstown; and her son-in-law, Henry Jacoby, of Franklin. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Carrie L. Phillips and her husband, Steven, of Utica, Jason R. Jacoby and his wife, Jennifer, of Franklin; and her three great-grandchildren, Morgan Phillips of Utica, and Kaylan Jacoby and Makayla Keas, both of Franklin. Additionally, Frances is survived by her sisters-in-law, Marion Ruditis, and Neva Ruditis, both of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband, Frances was preceded in death by her daughter, Linda K. Jacoby; her brothers, Stanley Ruditis , John Ruditis and Anthony Ruditis; and her sisters, Elizabeth Dunmire, Martha Cutchall, Loretta Wyant-Shkuratoff, Ann Boyles and Julia Whitman.
