Eugene Floyd Williams, 80, of Saegertown, passed away, Friday, January 10, 2014 at his residence. He was born April 17, 1933 in Erie, a son of F loyd Williams and Marcella Smith Williams. He married Evelyn Tabak on May 27, 1961 she preceded him in death on August 21, 1999. He was a graduate of Cathedral Preparatory School and was in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict. Eugene was a member of Saint Bernadette Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, automobile restoration, but most of all he loved being around his family. Eugene is survived by two sons, Daniel Williams and his wife Christine and Gene Williams and his wife Kimberly; four grandchildren, Daniel Meade Williams, Lauren Evelyn Williams, Nathan Williams, and Luke Williams; two sisters, Jeanette Ebisch and her husband David and Shirley Carrick; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his loving wife, Evelyn Williams; he was preceded in death by a sister, Beverly Rinderle. A memorial mass will be held on Wednesday, January 15th at 10:00am at Saint Bernadette Roman Catholic Church, Renner Alley, Saegertown with Father David Poulson, pastor, as celebrant.
