CENTERVILLE " Bruce R. Weidner, 76, of 15230 Brown Road, Centerville, passed away Saturday, Feb. 19, 2011, at Titusville Hospital. Born May 28, 1934, in Corry, he was the son of Rennie Weidner and Olive Jerome Weidner. He married Joanne Lingo McGee on Dec. 29, 1969; she survives. He was of the Protestant faith. He was a graduate of Spartansburg High School. He worked at Sylvan, General Electric and later Wal-Mart. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Titusville. He enjoyed gardening, mowing the yard, bowling and watching golf. In addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Bruce Weidner, Timothy Weidner of Townville, and Chad Weidner and his wife, Amy, of North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Dianna Johns and her husband, Barry, of Centerville, and Shirley Proper and her husband, Joe, of Titusville; two stepsons, Bruce McGee of North Carolina, and David McGee and his wife, Cheryl, of Centerville; a brother, James Weidner and his wife, Lillian, of Spartansburg; 19 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Weidner; a sister, Barbara Hicks; and a granddaughter, Kaylee Rose. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to Townville Ambulance Service, 33441 N. Main St., Townville, Pa. 16360. Arrangements are under the direction of Willis L.
