Dear Grandma,
We all said goodbye for now to you today. The preacher had many kind and loving words to express about you. The best part is that I know and feel these sentiments are all true. I say “are” because to say they “were” implies that these feelings will fade. They won’t. You have had an effect on me that will never fade with the passing of time. I feel sad, but know I feel this way because I have been fortunate enough to know and love you. I love you so much! Memories of you will stay in my heart forever. Hope to see you in Heaven – until then,
Love,
Julie
