Anthony J. Sineni Jr., 72, of 944 River Drive, Franklin, died Sunday, Nov. 9, 2008, at his residence. Born Aug. 9, 1936, he was the son of the late Anthony J. Sineni Sr. and Mary Grisanti. Mr. Sineni was employed by Wyeth Laboratories as a drug representative before retiring after 30 years of service. He attended First Presbyterian Church in Franklin and was a member of the choir. Mr. Sineni was a graduate of Bennett High School and obtained his bachelor's degree in English from the University of Buffalo. He enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, cooking and the opera. He was a "people person." Mr. Sineni is survived by three children, Anthony J. Sineni III and his partner, Nona Hichborn, of Portland, Maine, Allison Rhodes and her husband, Phillip, of Pittsburgh, and Alyssa Truckenbrod and her husband, Jason, of Allison Park; and 12 grandchildren, Phoebe Rayher of Pittsburgh, Axel Wales of Pittsburgh, Lukas Truckenbrod of Allison Park, Alex Rhodes of Pittsburgh, Nathaniel Fredericks of Kennett Square, Oliver Fredericks of Kennett Square, Benjamin Truckenbrod of Allison Park, Fiona Truckenbrod of Allison Park, Claire Rhodes of Pittsburgh, Bryce Hichborn of Portland, Maine, Anthony J. Sineni IV of Portland, Maine and Reid Sineni of Portland, Maine. Mr. Sineni is also survived by two sisters, Dorotea Brach and her husband, Albert, of Kenmore, N.Y., and Josie Lapetina of West Seneca, N.Y.; a special friend, Marlene McMurray of Franklin; and his former wife, Carole Battista Towers of Charleston, S.C. In addition to his parents, Mr. Sineni was preceded in death by one daughter, Karen Fredericks; and two sisters, Marilyn Gasser and Linda Lesniowski. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. today at the Robert W. Gardinier Funeral Home, 1315 Chestnut St., Franklin. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church in Franklin with the Rev. Samuel Gibbs, pastor, officiating. Memorials may be made to the Susan G.   2. So sorry to read of Tony’s passing. I remember his days in Buffalo as a Wyeth rep. and how he always had a great story to tell and a smile on his face. Later when he moved to Franklin, I visted when passing through the area. A real gentleman.
