Anita L. Jones Anita L. Jones, 75, of Meadville Pike, Franklin, passed at UPMC Northwest, Seneca, on Thursday, March 17, at 10:05 a.m. Born December 21, 1935, in Oil City, Anita was the daughter of the late Walter Wayne and Beatrice Evangeline Milford Fornof. Anita was a United States Marine Veteran, having served during Peacetime. She was a graduate of Rocky Grove High School. She was married November 9, 1968 to Philip Jones, Sr., and he survives. Anita loved her flowers and her kitties (Cali, Misty, Angel & Heidi). She also made ceramics. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Church. In addition to her husband, Anita is survived by her children, Beatrice Little and her husband, Cliff, of North Carolina, Darla Brooks and her husband, David, of Franklin, Kimberly Sue Culver and her husband, Kevin, of Franklin, Philip R. Jones, Jr. and his wife, Lois of Franklin, Kathi Reed and her husband, Jeff, of Franklin, and Kevin E. Jones of Virginia; her 23 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother, Paul Fornof, of Franklin; her nephew, Daniel Fornof of Manassas, VA; her neice, Michelle Fornof, of Akron, Ohio; her brother-in-law, Paul Jones, of Van; and her sisters-in-law, Audrey Riling of Altoona, Diane Antoski and Helen Heath, both of Franklin, and June Mease and her husband, Keith, of New Jersey; and her many friends in the Cardiac Rehab at the Franklin Y.M.C.A. In addition to her parents, Anita was preceded in death by her son, Donald Dorer; her brother-in-law, Forrest M. Jones; and her granddaughter, Shauna Marie Norcross. Family and friends of Anita will be received at the Gardinier Funeral Home, Inc., 1315 Chestnut Street, Franklin, on Monday, March 21, from 3 to 7 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 22 at 11 a.m. , with Rev. Linda Deeter, chaplain of The Caring Place, officiating. Interment will be in Rynd Farm Cemetery.
