Albert James Parker, 80, of Mercer Road, Townville, passed away, Saturday, November 19, 2011 at Saint Vincent Health Center, Erie. He was born July 4, 1931 in Randolph Township a son of Carl Parker and Mattie Logan Parker.
He attended school at Randolph East Mead and retired as a welder for the Erie Lackawanna Railroad.
Albert loved his grandchildren, family and friends.
He always enjoyed working in the woods, logging with his team of horses, and giving hay wagon rides and sleigh rides to all his family and friends.
He is survived by his loving daughter, Marilyn "Joyce" Eaton and her husband Norman of Guys Mills; three grandchildren, Justin Howell and his wife Jen, Darrin Eaton and Lauren Eaton; three great-granddaughters, Megan and Allison Howell and Julia Johnson; a brother, Charles Parker and his wife Myrna; two sisters, Sara Bahurinsky and Harriet Vergith and her husband Bob; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; an infant son, Albert Dennis Parker; a sister, Catherine Mulidoro; and a brother, Daniel Parker.
Family and friend are welcome to attend a graveside service on Tuesday, November 22nd at 11:00am at Kingsley Cemetery, Townville, with Pastor Glen Van Cise of Chapmanville Community Church, officiating. Burial will follow after the service.

from kelley, i only met him not so long ago and i considered him a very great man full of knowledge that had a great sense of humor.
he did so much for kids and anyone else he could help.
he will be sadly and whole heartedly missed by us.
Sorry to hear about your loss. I did not really know him but my dad Keith Reagle had told me some stories.
